Well thank God that is over

Indiana got absolutely worked down in Champaign today, and when I say absolutely worked, I mean absolutely worked.  Indiana was just awful.   This is a team that has just gone absolutely backwards since winning back to back games against two top 25 teams.  Illinois, who had already lost to IU this year, came out on fire on their senior day.  Mccamey and Davis were ridiculous today just completely outplaying the Hoosiers. The Illini who could not afford to lose if they wanted to go dancing this year  and came out hot. This game was essentially over after the first 5 minutes.  I probably should have turned the tv off after that and done something else with my time.  Now, it is time for conference tournaments and thank god for that because this has got to be the worst college basketball season in recent memory. Consider this, the two leading candidates for player of the year are white.  I mean really, two white guys.  Ben Hanborough who is almost as annoying as his brother was and Jimmer Fredette's name whose first name is "Jimmer."  That's just wierd.  This season has been a total waste on all levels.  The talent just does not seem to be there right now in college basketball.  NBA teams do not even want to have a draft this year because there are not 60 players worth drafting. I just cannot wait til this is all over with and baseball season arrives.   There is no worst time from the end of the Super Bowl to the beginning of the NCAA tournament, and this year was made even worse by the terrible college hoops season.  Winter sucks.
