The State of Coaching in College Sports
What the hell is going on with the NCAA? First off, this whole Jim Tressel thing is just ridiculous, and actually pretty funny if you think about it. Jim Tressel gets suspended for 2 games, while the young adults get suspended for 5 games. What Jim Tressel did was 10 times worse than what his kids did because he is paid to do the right thing and help these kids grow into successful adults. Makes me kind of sick that his suspension is less than his players who were probably just selling the stuff so they could get some nice clothes and a few decent meals outside of the cafeteria food they eat everyday. And then there are guys coaching in college basketball who make Jim Tressel look like a saint. Bruce Pearl and John Calipari have no business coaching college athletics. They care very little about the term student athlete and yes I know most kids going to college to play hoops at a big university are going to that specific school to major in the NBA, but if you have noticed, the level of play in college basketball has been downgraded by this type of attitude towards not having kids in school for atleast a couple of years. Bruce Pearl should be banned from college hoops. And Calipari has ruined every single program he has coached at. Kentucky will be next, and they also will not win a national title with him coaching because he will never be able to get a team to really flow. While one player can get you there like Derrick Rose did for him at Memphis, those types of players are few and far between. And with the NCAA upon us, there is no time like the present to look how these guys are rewarded. Calipari and Pearl make millions. How many titles have they won? ZERO. Guys like these two should be sitting three seats down from head coaches in the NBA like Kelvin Sampson.

Pearl is a straight scumbag. At least Greasy C doesn't turn people in for cheating and then cheat his ass off.
