Okay I get it. Everyone has had their fill of Chuck Sheen and this post is probably a week late but I have to tackle the Hollywood gossip and frankly this is about the only thing going on the rest of the world cares about unless someone really wants to hear more on John Fogelman leaving WME or that Eastbound and Down is probably only going for more season.
Q: Is Charlie Sheen really crazy?
A: Probably not. I have been hearing about Charlie's antics about 2 weeks longer than everyone else because he was busy doing lines of ya-yo on the streets of Sunset before he ever got on the radio or internets to be crazy. I don't think he is drugged out OR doing it for publicity, his long time PR guy actually resigned over him not listening. Doubtful he is trying to pull a Joaquin Phoenix either since you know that was so great for his career.
Chuck is already at the top of his game. He doesn't need to be more famous. $1.3M an episode for Two and Half Men was already tops in the biz, he doesn't have much to gain from going crazy. Reality shows just don't pay as well. I think he is bored. He had nothing exciting going, started partying and the next thing you know it was the late 80s all over again for Chuck. He was pushing his limits and seeing how much shit he could get away with and frankly its ALOT. If you make money for people in this town you can poop on the street and tell your boss to shove it without consequence... Or the studio that produces your show can cancel it.
Charlie will be fine, he will be back on TV in some form in the next 18 months printing money for whatever network is willing to let him be crazy and hammer his boss. Now go buy a t-shirt that says "winning" and shotgun a Tiger-Blood energy drink. I know Jimmy the Greek will.
