Screw The Books Pick of the Day

(Not surprising, this was the most attractive picture in Google images when you type in "Butler hot girls".) Anyhow, I guess you can say Jimmy The Greek has learned his lesson and is finally jumping on the Butler bandwagon. First, I think Brad Stevens will win the coaching battle between him and Shaka Smart. He will find a way to slow the game down and find a pace that suits Butler and limits the possessions that VCU normally gets. A big part of this will be the defensive pressure that PG Ronald Nored will apply to Joey Rodriguez. With Nored slowing down Rodriguez, VCU will be limited in the amount of wide open 3-pointers they get, which has been a big key to their trip to the Final Four. As always, a big question will be if Matt Howard can stay out of foul trouble. Hopefully Stevens has Andrew Smith guard Jamie Skeens instead of Howard in order to keep this from happening. Assuming all of this holds true, I think Butler will cover the 3 points and be cutting down the nets and on their way to back to back National Championship appearances.
