Edwin Jackson : Filthy

The Sox opened up in strong fashion yesterday jumping on David Price early for a couple of runs and not turning back.  Edwin Jackson was phenomenal setting a White Sox opening day record for strikeouts.  He had 13 k's and only gave up 4 hits and 1 walk.  While some questioned this trade for the White Sox when it occurred, it really seems to be working out for both sides so far.  Both Jackson and Hudson have been fantastic since switching teams.  Hudson was electric at the end of last season turning in a great second half with the Dbacks.  And Jackson was solid down the stretch last year as well, but he has started this season on absolute fire.  His stuff has been filthy.  On another note, Juan Pierre still stinks.  He could hit .400 and steal 200 bases and I would still think he stinks so anyone who thinks they can change my mind please go ahead.  I find it so funny to hear Sox fans who ripped this guy when he was with the Cubs give him so much praise now.  His numbers are identical to when he was a Cub.  Next:  Adam Dunn is tough as nails.  This man wants to play tomorrow despite having an appendectomy.  Large balls.  Thats all I have to say about that.  Oh yea, and Johnny Damon is hitting .053.  Thats pretty bad, even for this early in the season.  More on the Bulls Later.
